The MGM Slam — Inspiring Dreams

Las Vegas · 28 February 2027

The MGM Slam.

Ten‑point tiebreaks. Six world‑class players. A $1.5 million purse, settled in a single night — tennis with Vegas energy, and your seat at the heart of it.

The event

Ten‑point tiebreaks.
From the first ball.

Six world‑class players. A $1.5 million purse. Every match decided on a ten‑point tiebreak, and a best‑of‑three tiebreak final. No sets, no slow build — the sharp end, all night.

It's tennis with Vegas energy: every point a match point, the whole arena on its feet, the purse settled before the night is out. Only one city would stage it this way.

Recent editions have drawn Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, Aryna Sabalenka and Naomi Osaka. Fields vary each year; names shown are past participants and are not a guarantee of the 2027 line‑up.

The story

How the Slam came to Vegas.

It began as an idea we took to our partners at MGM: Rafael Nadal against Carlos Alcaraz, in Las Vegas, live to the world.

It became The Netflix Slam — hosted by MGM Resorts at the Michelob ULTRA Arena, and only the second live sports event Netflix had ever streamed, after their golf exhibition the previous autumn. Alcaraz won it 14–12 in a deciding tiebreak, in front of a full house.

Every edition since has sharpened the model. The exhibition has always had one weakness: with nothing meaningful at stake, the tennis rarely matters. Put a real purse on the table and reduce the format to tiebreaks, and the incentives change — the players compete, and the audience gets a night with genuine consequence. That is the event we bring you in 2027.

The relationship

Nobody stages Vegas like MGM.

The Strip's largest operator is also its most inventive. Where others sell rooms, MGM builds occasions — the kind of nights that only exist in this city, and only because someone with real scale decided to make them happen.

Experience, luxury and genuine invention — set against the only backdrop that could hold them.

It's through Inspiring Dreams' long relationship with MGM — the consulting work we do alongside them — that we're able to open doors like this one. Not just the Slam: these are experiences we can arrange for you across MGM's calendar. A standing partnership, not a one‑off booking. And every experience we host quietly supports the Inspiring Children Foundation.

Past and ongoing

The MGM Slam keeps growing.

Four editions in, it has become one of the few nights the sport's biggest names will travel for — and one of the few exhibitions they genuinely want to win.

2024 Nadal against Alcaraz. The Netflix Slam, live from Las Vegas.
2025 Sabalenka against Osaka — the women's game takes the stage.
2026 A full field, a broadcast footprint across Netflix, DAZN and The CW.
2027 Six players, tiebreaks throughout, $1.5 million on the line.

Four editions in, and it only gets better. Is 2027 your year to experience the MGM Slam in person?
